Premium priced whey protein isolate supplement
- For the price I’m paying for this supplement, I could get a larger tub if I bought other brands.
- I might hate the pricing, but it is still a good product. In terms of nutritional value.
- Taste was excellent, mixes well and does not upset my upset. Works well for me as I saw gains.

Now Foods is a brand frequently encountered in the world of fitness and bodybuilding. Its focus, however, is a broader one, as it produces countless different types of supplements for healthy living, hygiene and beauty. It seems to pay attention to every need of every system in the body.
Now Foods created its Whey Protein Isolate with the goal to maximize protein absorption in the muscle. The cross-flow microfiltered protein was engineered to deliver a high content of BCAAs for building lean muscle. The supplement has a very low content of fat and carbs and it claims to be all natural. It is said to deliver 50 g of protein per serving, which represents its most attractive feature. Besides this, the consumer gets notable quantities of calcium, potassium and some fiber, too.
You get 816 g or 1.8 lbs of powder per container. The cost per package varies between $38 and $50. When you buy more than one piece, you can benefit of additional discounts. Although the container is a big one, the powder isn’t concentrated, so you only get 12 servings. You should try not to be mislead by the quantity.
Taste and Mixability
Enriched with unique flavors, this protein drink aims to be one of a kind. It is sweetened with stevia herbal extract. Mix two level scoops as directed on the product label. You can have it with water, but it tastes best with milk – just like chocolate. Also, it will need some time to blend well, but milk solves this issue too.
Because it’s made of whey, the protein isolate from Now Foods is superior in so many ways. It is reliable source of fine, high quality protein that targets lean muscles. In total, it counts 240 calories per serving so it is a non-negligible addition to your diet. Therefore, this isn’t a product that can be used for weight loss. Do not have it as a meal replacement. Instead, focus on pairing this with a training diet when you are being constant in your efforts at the gym. This is a supplement that’s easy on the digestion and athletes can rely on it.
There is a notable content of essential amino acids: L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Isoleucine, L-Methionine, L-Valine and L-Tryptophan among others, along with non-essential amino acids (up to 10 different ones). Whey Protein Isolate gives an important amount of protein, but a serving of two scoops may be too much for some. Also, the container will soon be empty as you follow the directions. Considering the hefty price as well, it cannot be seen as the most economical option out there.
